Early Life
Brittany Marie’s background in gymnastics played a vital role in her career as an aerialist. At just three years old, she started performing as a competitive gymnast and continued for a decade before taking a break at thirteen.
After graduating from Willard High School near Springfield, Missouri, Brittany began teaching gymnastics and found she enjoyed it but missed performing. This realization led her to San Diego, where she discovered her love for aerial arts.
As an experienced gymnast, Brittany had an advantage in learning the acrobatic movements required in aerial arts. The strength, agility, and body awareness she had developed through years of gymnastics gave her a solid foundation for aerial work. Additionally, the dedication and discipline she had honed in her gymnastics training allowed her to focus on learning this new art form.

Aerial Arts
Brittany Marie moved back to the area and began teaching at Springfield Aerial Fitness, which offers aerial fitness classes and events. But as much as she enjoyed teaching, she still really wanted to perform.
This led her to attend a circus school in Chicago. She began doing local gig work and performances with small circuses in that area before ultimately deciding to move back to the Branson area to see what this area might hold for her.
Performing in Branson
Brittany Marie got her first Branson aerialist performance job at Dolly Parton’s Stampede. It was here that she learned to use a one-point harness to land on the back of a moving horse, an impressive feat for any performer.
However, her true passion was always for the silk act. Brittany had always wanted to showcase her abilities in this aerialist discipline. When she heard that Hamners’ Unbelievable Variety Theater was looking for an aerialist, she knew it was her chance to pursue her dream.
Brittany has been performing her silk act with Hamners’ since then, amazing audiences with her skill and grace as she twirls high above the stage. Branson is known for its talented performers, and Brittany fits right in as she contributes to the magic and excitement of the city’s entertainment scene.
